“market” lunch

Today was the first day of my local farmer’s market…hurrah!! I love shopping for fresh produce and other fun finds!! Today’s lunch was 3oz fresh mozzarella (2oz was my protein & 1oz was my fat). 6oz of cherry tomatoes (these are from Costco, not in season yet) for my vegetable. I added salt on top too!

For my fruit I had this beautiful pear. It was perfectly ripe and sweet! My favorite farm is Amador Farms in the Yakima Valley. I try to shop from them first every time. Their produce is always beautiful and ready to eat! I recommend checking them out at the Puyallup Farmer’s Market, it’s open every Saturday, April-October! Hope everyone is having a beautiful Saturday!
