Start with 3oz banana and mash.

Add 1oz dry oatmeal and 1 egg. Mix.

Next add a splash of vanilla, 1/4 tsp baking soda and plenty of cinnamon. Stir until we’ll incorporated.

Pour 1/3 of the batter into a mini waffle maker (all of the batter into a regular size waffle maker) and cook until steam stops coming out of the waffle.

Repeat 2 more times with the remaining batter.

While waffles are cooking heat 3oz of blueberries in the microwave for 45 seconds. Macerate for the “syrup.”

Pour blueberries over waffles. Adding another 1/2 protein (optionally adding 4oz plain yogurt to blueberries) will make this a complete BLE woman’s weight loss breakfast portion. Recipe to follow.
